Who perform a wide range of procedures and have an active clinical practice. The applicant will provide diagnostic and therapeutic patient care before, during and after procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties may include, but are not limited to, history and physical examination, sedation assessment, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies/imaging, patient education of procedures risks, benefits and alternatives, consultations with patients and medical team, maintaining patient profiles and longitudinal care of interventional oncology and other interventional radiology patients, post-procedure management, inpatient rounding, performing interventional procedures, such as, paracentesis, thoracetesis, fluoroscopic procedures such as PICC Line insertion and central venous access.

Ideal candidate should be a self-starter, who is eager and willing to learn, with a charismatic personality. Applicant must also be comfortable with Electronic Medical Records. One year experience in Interventional Radiology with a Fluoroscopy License preferred. However, all candidates will be considered with the appropriate training and/or background. Sonographer – Austin, San Antonio, DFW, Houston

Candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac and vascular testing at various primary care physician offices. A typical candidate will work with a minimum of five different physician offices every week. They will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and maintaining all equipment and supplies. They will become an integral part of the physician’s team by providing important diagnostic information that is critical to patient care. Responsibilities: The Principal Radiologic Technologist - Supervisor is responsible for day to day operations of CT imaging at the main hospital and ACC. Maintains an expert handle on all scanners, protocol and quality control. Responsible for staffing, training, work procedures, quality of work, labor relations, short term planning, problem solving and process improvements for the CT section and staff. As a working supervisor, the CT supervisor will operate a variety of equipment, including CT generators, patient table, control console, power injectors, various software programs and assorted computers. Performs CT examinations using the established exam protocols.


Requirements:
--Valid CRT and CA Fluoroscopy permit, and CPR required ?--I.V. Certification and Contrast Administration experience preferred (Department will train) ?--ARRT and ARRT (CT) preferred ?--Knowledge and ability to operate radiology and auxiliary equipment for assigned modalities to provide quality images. Knowledge of processor maintenance and filming techniques ?--Staff supervisory experience ?--Experience mentoring and supervising new hires during the probationary training period and beyond ?--Demonstrated imaging experience

Experience as a program director preferred; knowledge of JRCERT compliance standards; experience in curriculum design, program administration and assessment. Must have personal transportation and be willing to travel to clinical affiliate sites.

Applicants for teaching assignments are expected to have strong communication skills. Applicants are expected to have post-secondary teaching experiences; work experiences in the discipline to be taught; and knowledge of industry-related software and systems, including industry certifications, where appropriate. Degrees must be from an accredited institution.

General Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the faculty are to teach and to develop the curriculum. To meet these responsibilities, faculty must remain knowledgeable about advances in their disciplines, in learning theory, and in pedagogy. Faculty portfolios will include contributions and program development and show evidence of ongoing professional development.

Job Duties:
1. The primary responsibilities of faculty are to teach and to develop the curriculum. Prepare and provide students with course outlines that support learning objectives set forth in the course syllabus. Develop and measure learning outcomes. Assess student performance and maintain grade records.
2. Create an effective learning environment through the use of a variety of instructional methods.
3. Collaborate in the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for use in program reviews and curriculum revision.
4. Work with other program and/or discipline faculty to complete scheduled program reviews and to use the findings to revise the curriculum.
5. Participate in appropriate professional development activities to assure currency in both discipline, knowledge and instructional methods.
6. Participate in department/discipline, division, campus, and college meetings and committees.
7. Participate in college projects, surveys, studies, and reports that relate to the discipline or program.
8. Collaborate in the development of program and/or discipline promotional materials.
9. Maintain five office hours each week.
10. Support the college's goals.
11. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
